Clean used pens with UV light
Simply insert your used touch pen or ballpoint pen into the device and it will be sterilized in about 20 seconds. It will be sterilized automatically by UV (ultraviolet) irradiation. When you want to take it out, just hold your hand over the sensor. The pen will come out automatically. You can take out the pen without touching it, so both customers and staff can use it with peace of mind.
You can choose from a touch pen or a ballpoint pen.
About the disinfecting effect
A 20-second UV irradiation test confirmed a significant reduction in E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.* Simply insert the used pen into the device, so there's no need to forget to sterilize.
*The UV-C LED used is OSRAM's 4.7m WOSLON®UV 3636-SUCULBN1.VC.
*Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were dropped onto a pen, air-dried, and then attached to the inside of the case as a sample and measured with UVC irradiation for 20 seconds. The sterilization effect was 92% for Escherichia coli and 80% for Staphylococcus aureus (based on sterilization effect tests conducted by the Japan Food Research Laboratories).
